Casey Eaton, Ph.D.
I am an Assistant Professor in Industrial and Systems Engineering at Auburn University. My work examines how novel technology, design goals, or policies impact the people designing complex systems. My research blends technical approaches like modeling and optimization, while incorporating the human impact through cognition and behavioral analysis.
My NASA funded research has received the Systems Engineering Research Consortium Barry Boehm Award and is the recipient of the Wiley Systems Engineering Top Cited Article and Top Read Article Awards. I was a 2021 International Amelia Earhart Fellow and an Alabama Space Grant Fellow. I am currently serving as a Board Member of the Engineering Society of Systems Scholars (ESSyS).
